Dr Indeevar Vimal Mishra, the Proprietor and Chief Eye Surgeon of the Bhalanetra Superspeciality Eye Hospital has completed his DNB (Diplomat of National Board) from the prestigious and world-renowned Sankara eye hospital, Tamil Nadu.
He then went on to become a Medical officer at the world’s largest eye hospital, Aravind eye hospital, Tamil Nadu where he got trained in the art of Advanced Phacoemulsification for cataract surgery. He was extensively trained in the management and usage of various types of advanced lenses. Post his training he was involved in the training of national and international eye surgeons in the art of advanced cataract surgery.
He then later joined the Multinational and World-famous Agarwal Eye Hospital serving as the Anterior Segment surgeon and Medical Retina Consultant. Here he learnt the art of Corneal transplants and LASIK. He also spent a brief time in Africa serving and catering to the needs of downtrodden in association with Agarwal Eye hospital.
He went on to join the world famous and one of the oldest eye hospitals in India - M M Joshi Eye Hospital, Karnataka. M M Joshi Eye hospital was founded by Padmashree Dr M M Joshi. Here Dr Indeevar V Mishra was trained in the advance management of Glaucoma. During his tenure here, he was also the principal to the College of Optometry. He was also the nursing training incharge. He also spent time in training the younger generations of eye surgeons in the art of phocoemulsification and use of various newer generations of IOL - Intra ocular lenses.
